What's in a name?

Anser (pronounced On-zer) is the brightest star in the constellation Vulpecula. It is also known as the Alpha Star. (I like to think of myself as the Alpha Dog.) This name is a tradition kept from the time when the constellation Vulpecula had the name Vulpecula et Anser ('the little fox and the goose'). In the constellation, Anser represents a goose in a fox's mouth.

I am always proud when a child takes the time to learn about his name. You are very well-read for a puppy.
