The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Five (Part 2)

Mom called and I said I had to do some work. So, I reviewed the work of the associates, made some calls and a few executive decisions. I've also decided that Fridays will now be 'casual fur' day.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Five

In order to make Mom's office more relaxed, I felt it was important that I relax. The family returns home tomorrow and I look forward to my souvenirs and chewing on...I mean looking at... their stuff

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Four (Part 3)

After a hard day whipping the staff into shape, it feels good to be home. Now...where's my dinner?

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Four (Part 2)

Apparently Mom left strict instructions to give me a gift today. Thanks Mom...I love it.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Four

With the end of the holidays and Mom still on vacation, I was in charge of the office. I made certain everyone was working. Unfortunately, as has happened in the past, I was caught napping.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Three (Part 2)

More pictures from our walk. Plus, the slightly higher temps resulted in melted snow and I found my ball.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Three

Today, I was annoying. Testing the sitter's patience revealed that he has very little. I quickly shaped up. Other than that, we walked around outside. He complained about the cold and wet...I told him to act his age and grow a sleek fur coat (like mine).

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Two (Part 2)

Someone dressed like a mailman is knocking on my door...on a Sunday. I find that odd so I spring into action to investigate and protect the house (which is really the job of the sitter) and my sitter (which is my job). It turns out it really was the mailman. He brought something for my folks. I'm still waiting for my presents.

More updates later.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day Two

Some pictures so that the family remembers to miss me. (And bring my back souvenirs...like a turkey leg)

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day One (Part 2)

My sitter (I think the truth is that he is here to watch the house and I am here to watch him...he may try to eat my....I mean our food) and I have settled in and I've been behaving pretty good. I've offered to share my meals and I keep him company when he eats.

The Family's Gone Skiing: Day One

The whole family went skiing and left me behind with a babysitter. As if I would get in trouble if left on my own. I've never been skiing and I hope to go next year. Not that I'm having a bad time at home, but I'll admit, I miss Mom, Dad and the kids. I was caught looking for them:

Pampered

After a relaxing day at the spa, where I received a manicure and a bath, I like to go home and chew on things. I even made Mom happy and wore the bandana they gave me.

A Small Birthday Party

Mom gave me a little party in the office to celebrate my birthday. I was treated to cheese and biscuits and chicken and pretzels...it was awesome. However, I had to agree to wear a birthday hat. It's not easy being one.

I want to send Happy Birthday wishes to all my brothers and sisters.

First Snow

Our first snowfall this season was small. I'm looking forward to a bigger storm and snowball fights.

Slide

I like playing with the slide. I'm still trying to figure out the monkey bars, though.

Fall

Be vewy, vewy quiet...I'm hunting wabbits. Fall has come and made a mess of my yard but Mom says Dad will take care of that. Dad says the gardener will take care of that. I say, where is my ball?

What does a happy canine-american look like?

Like this:

A Place to Relax

As I become a regular in Mom's office, it became important that I have my own place to do what I do. Mom agreed and now I have my own pad. It even has my name so none of the associates confuse it with their pads.

My First Thanksgiving

What an awesome holiday...food as far as the eye can see. Unfortunately, it was often further than the paw could stretch. Mom gave me a cool gift though for my good behavior (or to keep me busy, only she knows). Behold.... the Chicken Top. Thanks Mom.

When I was a puppy...

I'm going to be one year old in a few weeks so I thought I'd post some pictures when I was just a puppy. These are from I was just 8 months...seems like a long time ago.
